New Cuban Tool Teaches Deaf Spanish

Havana, Mar 30 (Prensa Latina) Cuban experts have designed a bilingual dictionary so that deaf children can learn the Spanish language with new communication technologies, it was reported in this capital on Friday.

This digital education instrument has over one million words, in correspondence with a part of the basic vocabulary students with disability learn through Cuban sign language.

According to the authors, with this tool deaf children can finally learn, interpret and master the meaning in Spanish of a great number of words.

Preliminary results aim a great impact among students, who are motivated by their skills to increase their range of vocabulary.
